David Gutierrez
Head Coach
Coach David began playing soccer later than most, but his resolve to excel is evident on the field. Raised in Long Island, he understands the dynamics of local leagues. He progressed from CJSL to EDP and now competes at both the Regional and National levels. David spent most of his youth at Islas Malvinas Soccer Club before moving to various Clubs in NYC. He played two seasons at Eleanor Roosevelt High School under Coach Mr. G, where he grew as a creative and aggressive midfielder, captaining his team during his senior year. Post-high school, he played for the Borussia Dortmund Academy here in NYC furthering his growth under Coach Javier Martinez Haedo. Currently, he is a Division 3 athlete at St. Joseph's Brooklyn and contributed to the 2024 team's historic run to the Skyline Conference Semifinals under the guidance of Coach Adam Brunengo, Steward Naula and Alejandro Oliveros . After the college season, Coach David earned his US National D license with NYCFC and is pursuing his National C license. He has learned from National and MLS Next coaches and is dedicated to sharing his soccer expertise with youth, hoping to inspire them with the same passion and opportunity he received.
